Compare your net worth to real Federal Reserve data for households your age. Guess where you rank first, then see the real numbers.
You enter your age and your net worth (everything you own minus everything you owe). We place you among US households whose head is in your age group, using the Federal Reserve's 2022 Survey of Consumer Finances, the most detailed survey of American household wealth. Before the reveal, we ask you to guess where you rank, because the gap between how we feel and the real numbers can be surprising.

Household net worth percentiles by age of the head of household, from the Federal Reserve's 2022 Survey of Consumer Finances, as computed by DQYDJ. The Federal Reserve publishes the survey every three years; results from the 2025 survey are expected later. Percentiles between the published points are estimated by straight-line interpolation.
A few very wealthy households pull the average far above what a typical household has. The median, the household exactly in the middle, is the fairer comparison. That's why we never compare you to the average.
The survey measures households, so if you share finances with a partner, use your combined net worth for the fairest comparison.
The Survey of Consumer Finances runs every three years. As of October 2026, the 2022 survey is the most recent with published results, so today's percentiles are probably a bit higher. We'll update when the 2025 results are released.
